Why Stage Your Home?

Simply put, home staging is dressing your home up for potential buyers to be able to envisage themselves in your home.

According to Staged Homes, a staged home can gain an additional 6-20% on the sale price than an un-staged home and 91% of homes staged by accredited professionals will sell in one month or less.

It can be hard for potential buyers to see themselves in an empty house or to see themselves in your house with all of your items out on display therefore the goal of staging is to declutter and de-personalise your home so that when that potential buyer walks in, they can get a sense of how they would live in your home without being overwhelmed by too much 'stuff'.

As most of us are living in our home while it is on the market, sometimes full home staging may not be realistic however some home staging companies are happy to assist with partial home staging which is also beneficial.
