Charlotte's passion for colour and natural talent of mixing colours, shapes, textures and materials with furniture and accessories, provides a unique design style for those looking for eclectic interior design.
Charlotte loves to hunt out a bargain and finding items to up-cycle, for the practical side, to keep costs to a minimum, to ensure precious memories are treasured forever and because she is extremely environmentally conscious (sometimes driving her partner mad as she tries to recycle absolutely everything!).
As a child, Charlotte became her Father's little DIY Assistant around the house, garage and garden, asking lots of questions and being taught by him how to DIY and renovate. This exposure and renovation passion from a young age has made Charlotte a very practical and thoughtful designer understanding what is behind a wall or underneath your floor. Feedback from her University tutor whilst studying included "You obviously possess a lot of common sense, which is actually quite uncommon!".
Charlotte has traveled and lived overseas for 5+ years where her keen interest for all things design continued. Experiencing the rich array of colour combinations, textures and textiles, artwork and cultural styles abroad allowed her to experiment with different styles.
Charlotte believes that successful interior design is to truly understand the nature of her clients, creating customised spaces with personality and impact. This is how the name Domi Design originated - the word 'Domi' means 'at home' in Latin as this is how Charlotte believes you should feel in your home every day.
